I am so happy to have the opportunity to be a part of the Flushing Schools library team. The building libraries where you will find me are: Seymour and Elms. Students in the elementary buildings usually visit the library every week to learn about gathering information and to borrow and return books.

Although the number of volumes in our elementary buildings are not as large overall as you would find in a public library, they are uniquely suited to the needs of elementary children. During their weekly visits, depending on their grade, students may hear a book read aloud, learn about the library, search on a computer for a book using Web Safari, do research or spend some time reading independently.
