    • Raider Men’s Tennis – The Raider Men’s Tennis Team are heading back to the Big Dance.  Flushing took second place at the Dow Regional yesterday with 13 points, punching their ticket back to the State Finals at the Midland Tennis Center next Friday, October 14th.  Taking finalist honors in the Region with #1 Singles Scott Mignerey, #4 Singles Kyle Brown, #1 Doubles Ben Mitchell and Garrett Morrison, #2 Doubles Layton Anderson and Declan Mulqueen and #4 Doubles Casey Larner and Josh Geister.  This was a total team effort as every player on the Raider Team won a match yesterday to take second place to the #1 Team in the State, Midland Dow.  Great Job Raiders and Good Luck at States!!!
    • Student Leadership Organization (SLO) - Attention stellar juniors and seniors who are interested in helping others in the community, volunteering and getting involved mentoring a middle school or elementary class through the adopt-a-class mentoring program.  The first Student Leadership Organization meeting will be held this Friday, October 7th at 7:30am in room 104.  You must be present in order to join SLO.  SLO’s primary projects are volunteering around the community and adopt-a-class.  If this interests you, SLO is the organization for you.
    • International Club – Attention all students.  Please consider joining the International Club.  Come meet our foreign exchange students.  Learn about other cultures, languages, food, all good things.  Our Google Classroom code is:  umjxj2c  Our first meeting is tomorrow, Thursday, after school in Room 512.  No worries if you can't make the meeting, join the classroom to find out when the next meetings will be held.
    • October is College Month – Why not start out college month with a full week of college visits?!?!  This week during all lunches, we will have a great group of colleges and universities visiting us.
