GCI students - due to the early release on Wednesday, 09/20, 1st and 2nd sessions will attend as normal.  Third session GCI is OPTIONAL.  The GCI bus will still provide transportation to and from GCI.  However, students will need to find a ride home from Flushing High School if they choose to attend.  If you have any questions, please see Mr. Lister in the Guidance Office.

Club Unity - There will be a Club Unity meeting on Thursday, September 21st after school until 3:45pm.  If you are interested in learning about different cultures and traditions, we’d love to have you join us in Ms. Nichols Room - 207.

Wellness Club - will meet on Thursday, September 21 at 7:30 am in the library.  This club is open to any student interested in improving their overall wellness.  We will cover mindfulness, healthy eating and exercise, stress reduction and so much more!  Come to the meeting and join the Google Classroom for more information.  The classroom code is A47lyuc.  See Mrs. Lord with any questions.

Juniors/Seniors - Michigan State University and UM Ann Arbor are planning on coming out for a visit during SRT.  If you are interested in meeting with them, please sign up in the Guidance Office.

Mu Alpha Theta - Hey all you Raider math nerds out there!  We want you to join Mu Alpha Theta, Flushing’s very own math honor society.  However, time is ticking away…you only have until THIS FRIDAY at 4:00pm to apply.  If you are in at least Algebra 2 and have all semester math grades at a B or higher and love math, this is the place for you.  See your math teacher for the link to apply or stop by Room 307 to talk to Ms. Sleno.  Remember…Friday is the last day to apply to be part of the coolest group of math nerds in the school.  Don’t miss out!

Homecoming tickets - are now on sale at all three lunches.  Tickets are $15.00 apiece.  If you are bringing a guest from another school, your guest pass must be on file before purchasing tickets.  Tickets will be sold until Thursday, September 28th.  After that date, you will pay $30.00 at the door!

Homecoming Dance Guest Passes:  If you plan on attending the homecoming dance and 

bringing a guest from another school, the homecoming guest passes are available in the office.  A guest pass must be filled out in order for your guest to attend the dance.  The deadline for the pass to be turned in is Friday, September 22nd.
