About Me

My name is Abigail Weston. This will be my 4th year of teaching, but my 1st year at Flushing Community Schools. I have a puppy named Capp and I love to sew quilts. On the weekends, I work at a quilt shop.

My Education

I graduated from Central Michigan University in May 2019. I majored in Elementary Education and Special Education with an endorsement in Cognitive Impairments.

My Teaching Style

I strive to teach students in a way that they fully understand what I am teaching, by being able to learn and apply their knowledge to their own life. 

I try to reach every student and focus on how they learn best. I encourage students to explore new things and continue to grow in their learning. 

Being able to brainstorm and think independently is very important to me and something I challenge students to do on a daily basis.
