FCS LIMITED SCHOOLS OF CHOICE PROGRAM - SECTION 105/105C

Schools of Choice Application Window: June 1 – June 29

Schools of Choice (SOC) applications for the 2023-2024 school year will be accepted June 1 through June 29. All applications must be received at the Administration Building by 4:00 p.m. on June 29.  Failure to meet this deadline will result in denial of the request.

Please note: Students who have been suspended, expelled or withdrawn in lieu of expulsion within the past two years or who have been convicted of a felony, may be denied enrollment under the SOC guidelines.

This is a Limited Schools of Choice program.  Openings will vary based on grade level.

Schools of Choice Limited Enrollment Section 105 - allows a Genesee County school district to accept students from another Genesee County school.

Schools of Choice Limited Enrollment Section 105c – allows a Genesee County school district to accept students from another school district that is contiguous to Genesee County (ie. Shiawassee, Lapeer, Oakland, etc.)

M - Th: 7:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m. (June 12- June 29)

*Transportation: Parents of students accepted into the Schools of Choice program are responsible for transporting their children to and from school.

*Students previously accepted into the Schools of Choice program and currently attending FCS for the 2022-23 school year do NOT need to reapply.  Once a student has been accepted, the acceptance will remain in effect unless there is a break in enrollment.
